Workshop: Word Part 4

It’s time to master document creation.

Target Student: This workshop builds upon the foundation of the first 3 parts and is for the intermediate to advanced Word user who wishes to fully implement and utilize all of the features.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this workshop, the learner will create and customize a Table of Contents for long documents, create and customize and Index to easily navigate through long documents using key topics, create and customize Citations and Bibliographies to manage sources, use Captions to identify and explain the context of visual elements like tables and figures, create Forms to simplify data entry, make Macros to reduce time spent on repetitive tasks, and setting options to customize the way you like to work.

Prerequisites: Familiarity using a personal computer including a mouse and keyboard, comfort working in the Windows environment, and Microsoft Excel Parts 1, 2 and 3, or equivalent knowledge.
